Blogger: How To Add A Custom Favicon

Not everyone blogging knows how to change the icon on the title bar or tab bar on the browser.
On this tutorial, I will teach you how.

First, you have to create your logo of course using Photoshop, GIMP, etc... Then resize it to something like 32x32 and save it as .ico.

Once you have your .ico file or your icon you want to upload as your favicon. Go to Layout.

After going to the Layout, you'll see something will show like the picture below and click Edit.

Once you click Edit, there is a Configure Favicon pop up that will show.

Then you have to locate your .ico file by clicking the Choose File button.

Once you got it located, you have to hit Save button below the Choose File button.

After you hit Save button, it will close the pop up box.
Then you have to Save arrangement to take changes. Save arrangement button can be seen on top right of the blogger Layout page.

I know you're wondering why it doesn't show your icon yet. But yes, be patient. you may not be able to see it immediately while viewing your blog. This happens because the default Blogger favicon remains in your browser's cache. To view it, clear your browser's cache or wait for some days or hours to expire and get deleted by itself.

Congrats, you have your own website icon now.
